Terms of supply for joint publications of the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder.
For the business relation between the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder and the orderer, only the following terms of supply, in the version in force at the time of ordering, shall be applicable. The statistical offices will not recognise any diverging terms reqüsted by the orderer, unless they have explicitly agreed in writing that such terms should be applicable.
Processing of orders
Depending on the post code indicated, the order will be passed on to the Land statistical office responsible for the relevant address and will be processed there. Deliveries to addresses abroad will be performed by the Federal Statistical Office. (The addresses of the statistical offices of the Länder and of the Federal Statistical Office are indicated here.)
Dispatch
Delivery will be made for the account and at the risk of the orderer. Complaints about incomplete shipments shall be made within 14 days after the goods have been received.
Terms of payment
Publications will be delivered with invoice. The invoiced amount shall be transferred within 14 days to the account indicated on the invoice, without any deduction.
Reservation of ownership
Until complete payment, the goods delivered shall remain in the ownership of the statistical office delivering them.
Copyright notice
Reproduction and free distribution, also of parts, for non-commercial purposes are permitted provided that the source is mentioned. Any distribution, also of parts, via electronic systems/data media requires prior permission by the statistical office dealing with your order. All other rights reserved.
Right of withdrawal and return
Pursuant to the law on distance selling, you may withdraw from the contract by returning the goods within two weeks. There shall be no right of withdrawal for data media that have been unsealed by the orderer, nor for services transmitted online (e.g. for download).
Place of performance, place of jurisdiction, applicable law
The place of performance and the place of jurisdiction shall be, for any deliveries and services, the seat of the statistical office responsible for the address of the orderer. The applicable law is German law, while the application of the UN Sales Convention shall be excluded.
